Camila Camborda

Communications and Strategy Consultant

Camila is a communications, strategy, and advocacy professional, with experience spanning philanthropy, political organizations, nonprofits, and local education agencies (LEAs). Camila began her career as a field organizer in Boston, working with immigrant families advocating for greater school access. Camila then moved to Washington, DC, where she turned her focus to international development and supporting international networks of organizations seeking to center constituent voices. Camila then spent time supporting the DC education landscape through political advocacy and public engagement as part of a local grantmaking organization. Most recently, Camila served as the Director of Communications & Fundraising at a DC Public Charter School, reaching 400+ students across two campuses in NE and SE. Camila is passionate about student-centered work that advances equity and progress across the District.
